Jim has worked for GTAC since 1989 and been the President – CEO since 1997. He has over 30 years experience in the Automotive Repair Industry. Jim is also our Classic Auto Appraiser and has been involved in the collecting of classic autos for many years. While Jim does hit the road daily for inspections he also has the joyous responsibility of keeping all of the rest of us on our toes to give you the service you deserve.

Lisa has kept the GTAC office running smoothly since 1998. She is the friendly voice on the phone that greets you and in most cases can answer your questions. When she doesn’t have a quick answer for your question she will track it down or direct you to the right person.

Mike has been an appraiser with GTAC since 2001. Recently he has the added responsibility of scheduling the assignments to each appraiser. His youthful exuberance helps Jim keep all of us on our toes as well as providing Lisa and Denise with moments of extreme humor.

Denise has kept those GTAC invoices coming since 1997. She handles all of the billing, payroll and bookkeeping responsibilities and questions. Recently she has been involved in getting our company up and running with the ability to provide electronic transmittal of claims information. She also has the added responsibility of keeping Jim in line when our toes get tired!

Mikey B is one of the newest appraisers having learned from years of training second to none Mikey B works out our main office and generally coverswhere ever he is needed.

Pete is located in the lower western section of our covered area. Pete is most commonly seen in that locale but as he has never complained about extended windshield time when we send him all over as needed. Before doing inspections for GTAC, Pete owned his own body shop.

Jim joins Brian on the Eastern side of the state. He has been inspecting vehicles for GTAC since 1998. Jim also seems to enjoy extended windshield time so he has been known to pop up in unexpected areas. In Mr. Taylor’s own words, “A field appraiser equals a detective-fire marshal-mechanic-body man. We do it all, whether it drives, floats, or crawls”.

Jon has been enjoying the freedom of semi-retirement for the past two years and inspects vehicles on a part time basis. He has been with GTAC since 1991 and is located at the tip of Lower Michigan. Jon is most frequently seen in the upper portion of Lower Michigan as well as the Upper Peninsula.

Kurt was hired at Grand Traverse Appraisal to cover the "U.P." or Upper Peninsula. He has passed Wannabe status to almost being a full fledged "Yooper" he is no longer in "Troll Land" and can speak with a "ya" every third word. Expect to see him anywhere in our U.P. coverage area as Jim believes that the new guy should get lots of windshield time.
